TO PLACE THE BLAME.
We cut
down a forest in Brazil
To get
some wood for the paper mill
We put
it down to somebody`s greed
Well
that`s what it says in the papers I read.
We all
agree that it`s a shame
And
then we look to place the blame.
We`re
drowning dolphins in fishing nets
The
more I see it the sadder it gets
They
drill for oil and gas for you and me
To
pollute the air and the land and sea.
We all
agree that it`s a shame
And
then we look to place the blame.
We all
agree that it`s a
We all
agree that it`s a
We all
agree that...
It`s so
sad
You
turned into your mum and dad
When I
think of the chance we had
To
really change things.
Now I
don`t mean to be unkind
But
it`s like we`ve all gone blind
No-one
even seems to mind
Well
that`s the strange thing.
And
so...
We cut
down a forest in Brazil
And
explore for more of that oil to spill
Our
appetite it grows with the waste
How do
you add up what can`t be replaced.
And we
all agree that it`s a shame
And
then we look to place the blame.
Yeah we
wonder who these people are
But
perhaps we always look too far.
Yeah we
wonder who these people
Yeah we
wonder who these people
Yeah we
wonder who these people are.
