I HAVE A FANTASY.

Have you looked around to see where you are

Go back a couple of years – have you travelled far

Are you the same and do you find you’re in a rut

Are your dreams in chains and it’s chains you cannot cut.

I have a fantasy

Far from reality

Where I can gradually…

Wash the pain away.

I need a fantasy

To recharge my battery

And give me the energy

To face up to the day.

Some people say that the world is in a mess

It’s ruled by know-it-alls who simply don’t care less

I’ve got a dream that the world will turn out right

And maybe with a little luck will finally see the light.

I have a fantasy

Where I meet honesty

I can say with certainty…

It helps me face the day.

I need a fantasy

My perfect hide-a-way

So give me the energy

To face up to the day.

The governments of nations can simply close their eyes

But look at little children and you know their words are lies

There’s good and bad in all of us and old nick has his laugh

But mother mature must win out so let’s give her out love.
