FREE FROM THE DREAM.

He had his bottle

He had his dreams

His only trouble

Was human beings.

They’d always get in his way

At least that’s what he’d say.

A life of fiction

A life a room

His one decision

Was playing one tune.

The boredom was part of his life

The glass in his hand was his wife.

But then you came along

And made him me

You made me strong

And set me free from the dream.

Oh yes you came along

And made him me

You made me strong

And set me free from the dream.

An open doorway

I’d never seen

It was reality

I smashed the dream.

They’d always get in my way

But that is the price that we pay.
