SITTING OUT.
The clocks ticks on out of proportion
I don’t understand the distortion
My mind’s in a glass
It’s an alias
It’s not me…
I’m sitting out.
There was a time I knew my own mind
When I would think I knew what I’d find
But that had to go
Now I do not know
Who is me…
I’m sitting out.
I’m taking a break from madness
From the stupid-ness of this rat race
I’m going into a hole
I’ve lost my control!
I’m sitting out
Till I find out about me
And reality.
It’s the pressures from the modern world
A nervous breakdown ain’t over-billed
It ain’t running out
It’s just filled with doubt
About me…
I’m sitting out.
You can say I’m kidding
You can say I’m hiding…
But just you wait
If you hesitate…
You’ll be like me
And then you’ll see.
