I’m looking for something better than this

I’m in the darkness and I’m in a mess

No exit route no reprieve

I need a purpose that I need to believe.

There has to be something better than this

Avoiding decisions so I make a guess

My life is wishing my life’s a prayer

I reach for someone that I knows never there.

I never seem to get to where I wish to go

I wonder if it’s something in me doubting what I know…
