The facts of life are hard to face

My life’s in disarray

I gave you all my heart could give

You through it all away.

I wish I had a special switch

To turn my feelings off

It’s funny how the pain bites deep

A pain that some call love.

It was good what we had

Ok so what I agree it turned bad

But it was good what we had…

I shut my eyes and I fantasize that you’re here with me

I know that cannot be

Oh what we had…

Why has it turned out so bad?

So all along it’s all I have

A love that’s really pain

I guess I fooled myself too much

And somehow lost my aim.
