MORE THAN THE ONION.
Sitting with another coffee
I’ve been up two hours now
A cigarette has joined the company
And I’m moving more to down…
And the apple of my eye
Watches Winnie on tv
And the apple makes you cry
More than the onion part of me.
Who could know and who could tell me
Who says three is more a crowd
It’s the pain of total agony
But it’s real love that I’ve found.
And that apple of my eye
Is my baby so dependant
But no matter how I try
More than the onion at my heart.
And I drink another coffee
And a cigarette puffs away
She’s the best and warmest part of me
That’s the way I want it to stay.
